A website management platform for nonprofit organizations. A highly customizable template powered by WordPress and hosted in the secure AWS cloud environment with a suite of tools catered to nonprofits.
Using GivingPress, all content on your website can easily be managed — including donations, showcasing staff, sharing news and much more. In addition, GivingPress provides several options for customizing the appearance of your website such as adding your logo, favicon, colors, layout, managing page menus and much more.
In short, you have full control and ownership over all the content on your website.
GivingPress is targeted at small to medium sized nonprofit organizations and cause-driven businesses in need of an affordable and easy-to-manage website. However, it can be used as a website solution for organizations of any size.
- GivingPress was created specifically for nonprofit organizations and cause-driven businesses.
- GivingPress utilizes and extends WordPress like no other website solution — making for a simple and intuitive user experience while still retaining the power and flexibility of the world’s most popular content management system.
- GivingPress allows for the creation of multiple on-site donation and fundraiser forms.
- Each GivingPress site comes with an SSL certificate for accepting secure on-site donations.
- GivingPress can be integrated with CRM and eCommerce software and solutions.
If your site already exists within a WordPress installation, we can migrate your content to GivingPress for free. However, your new site will need to use our customizable GivingPress template to be properly supported.
Customizable enough to give your site the personal touch it needs to match your brand.
In our experience, we have found that providing the user with too many theme customization options can be disastrous. We have attempted to give you control over customizing the important areas of theme, without making it overwhelming. As a result, you have the ability to customize the following areas of the theme:
- Upload your own logo.
- Align your logo to the left, right or center.
- Manage your navigation menus and links.
- Change colors throughout the theme.
- Change fonts throughout the theme.
- Choose from multiple home page template layouts.
- Optionally display sections on the home page.
- Add widgets to the sidebars and footer.
- Add social media icon links to the header and footer.
- Change, add or remove any images.
- Change the footer information.
- Several more customizations.
These are just a few of the features that allow you to change the appearance of your GivingPress website. In addition, you can choose from a variety of page templates and custom post types to help mold the appearance of your site.
Your site will be installed with the default GivingPress styles, options and content. However, all of that can be changed and customized. With a few small changes to the colors, fonts, images and options your site won’t be recognizable as a GivingPress template.
Not at this time.
Our ability to properly support your site is dependent on using our GivingPress theme that is custom tailored to the needs of most nonprofit organizations. Your custom theme may be unsecured, dependent on custom post types, custom plugins or have a configuration that our technicians are unfamiliar with.
WordPress is an open source content management system for websites created by the WordPress foundation. The CMS powers roughly 25% of all websites on the internet. By comparison, its closest competitor, Joomla, only accounts for less than 3% of all websites. Simply put, WordPress is the most secure, user friendly, widely supported and maintained website CMS available today. The WordPress community, including ourselves, is made up of thousands of designers and developers that volunteer their time and expertise by contributing to the CMS in the form of themes, plugins and core code contributions.
WordPress is the best website content management system available, and it’s a natural choice for nonprofits. WordPress itself is a nonprofit foundation comprised of a massive community of web designers and developers devoted to continually making and improving the platform.
We have personally been working with the platform since 2007. GivingPress was founded by the same company that created and operates Organic Themes, among the first premium WordPress theme providers. Due to our extensive experience and knowledge surrounding the WordPress platform and nonprofit organizations — using WordPress as the foundation of GivingPress was a natural choice.
Each GivingPress site features an individual installation of the complete WordPress platform, the GivingPress Pro theme and nonprofit website builder extensions. In addition, each site is individually hosted in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environment for maximum speed and security.
